married: Stephanie and Will’s homegrown wedding
Ok, I skipped ahead a little, but this shot is one of my favorites. So sweet. I have had the enormous honor and pleasure to photograph so many weddings over the years and with each one I witness a little bit different personality, story and bond with each couple. Stephanie and Will were married on a beautifully crisp late summer day at a private residence in Starksboro. The views? Stunning. The bride? The pictures speak for themselves. She was a beauty with a smile that didn’t quit. Will was sharp and handsome with an adoring look for his bride. He beamed and looked proud.
Stephanie and Will didn’t miss a step. Every little detail was carefully thought of with very personal significance. The ceremony was the most carefully planned aspect of the day and it was my favorite. In fact, I think their ceremony is one of my all time personal favorites. I learned something about them and their families during the intimate gathering tucked into the trees. I saw them laugh, and cry, as most every couple does, but what was remarkable was the faces I watched in the audience. So touching to see so many people hanging on every word and tucking back tears between each meaningful reading. Stephanie and Will were radiant and happy and, coincidentally, perfectly photogenic because of it. Their wedding day was grand but modest, low-key but elegant. I had a wonderful time with their families that evening and thank them again for being a fantastic finish to an incredibly wonderful wedding season.
This post is for you guys. Enjoy!
