married: Mike and Jennelle at Lareau Farm
Mike and Jennelle had a beautiful sunny spring wedding day at the Lareau Farm in Waitsfield. Their relaxed, laid back style was echoed with lawn games, a s’more cookout by the fire, a summer barbecue meal and the attitude of the guests: fun. Jennelle was a striking bride and was a beauty to photograph. She and Mike opted to do a first-look and see each other before the ceremony and when they met their emotional reaction was incredible. I’ll save those photos for them, as they are truly special, but my heart melted just a little bit watching Mike gasp, in awe, of Jennelle. It was touching, truly truly was. These two were simply adorable and were wonderful to work with.
This dress came with instructions and it was all hands on deck to get Jennelle buttoned up. I loved the flurry of freshly manicured hands around her dress as Jennelle stood patiently, nervously, anxiously, awaiting her unveil.
Bridesmaids double as a team of stylists.
Loved Jennelle’s “bubble tunnel” idea. All of the guests walked out of the ceremony first to make a tunnel for the newlyweds. While guests blew bubbles, the bridal party tossed confetti. Photographer approved.
I snuck into the photo booth to grab this shot. They were having too much fun to notice.
Jennelle and Mike, thank you for an absolutely wonderful day! Congratulations and wishes for many more lovely evenings.
